Question Mondays: What country would you want to move to?
Okay, so I created this series and decided to do it on Mondays since I would think that Mondays are so blue (Monday blues anyone?) and dull, so why not spice it up with some Q&A?
Okay truthfully, I gave some thought to this and have been sitting on my mind for quite some time. If I were to move to another country, I would say to move to either South Korea or Japan? ( I know, it's very asian of me -sigh-).
The thing is that I've heard so much hype about these places, and the culture there is, umm.. quite exciting? UHH, okay, for Japan, I've watched too much "Memoirs of a Geisha" (read the book also, it's very good. Go read it! or at least watch the movie). But the things I like about S.Korea is the coffee-culture they have there. Okay, if you know me, I am not a fan of coffee but that only applies to drinking coffee though! I terribly love the smell of it, the fresh roast and everything, I know, I am weird like that. Did I also mention that the japanese sceneries are Amaazing as well? Oh my. Just google up some images. I told you so. ( not a fan of korean sceneries sadly, sorry~ ).
But seriously, go to Seoul and everywhere you turn, a coffee shop will be literally in front of you (and mostly packed with people). Another thing is, okay, I have to be honest, I am also not a fan of veggies -hence kimchi- ERMEYGAD don't kill me fellow korean-fans! BUT, I love the idea of roasting meat on the grill in restaurants, which is common as well.
things that you may not know: Do you know that, in S.Korea, pizzas contain corn? Okay, I know to some, it's normal but by pizzas, I mean all if not most pizzas. For example, it's that common to the extent of: you know how pizzas always come with tomato base? Yeah, pizza there comes default with corn. This is turning into a rant, isn't it? I just... umm... how do I say this nicely, prefer my pizzas to be without corn?
If you like corn in your pizza, then... come to seoul~ haha!
Anyways, since we're on the topic of food, my love for Japanese and Korean food..uhhh. Furthermore, beauty-wise, do you know that cosmetic shops in S.Korea such as Etude House or Nature Republic actually gives out numeroouuuuus (and I emphasise) numerous amount of samples if you buy their stuff ( sometimes, even if you go in, not getting anything and just browse). I think it's due to competition with other brands and they want to attract customers, but seriously, I could just walk in and get like a 10$ lipgloss and come out with $50 worth of product samples.
Anyways, that's all for today and I hope you guys like this segment-ty thingie and this post!
So have you guys visited any country or countries that have gave you that "ermeygad I must move here" feeling? Or do you have any place in-mind that you would love to have the opportunity to move to? Comment below!
